Wubbzy's The Night Before Christmas [text]

What I liked The kids loved the games. They varied from the sleigh ride that had to dodge snowballs yet collect presents and matching shadows to shapes. The music and videos entertained the kids as well. The changing colors and lights were also a favorite. The three versions: read to them and play, read themselves and play and a book with no interactions provide variety.
Improvements Some of the interactions on he pages were not engaging enough for the kids. Some pages had a lot of interest to the kids and others the kids were disappointed as they were barely interactive. The kids wanted more movement such as the videos or the music. An example of this is the page where Santa is on his sleigh. He says ho ho ho and moves minimally. The kids were disappointed but overall most of the pages were interactive and elicited smiles and giggles.
General review This is a good little app that just needs a few more tweaks to keep the kids involved on every page. the games and the music/ videos entertain the children who want to do these pages over and over. The options of how to read the book offer a lot of variety.

What I liked The games were cute and engaging and there was a little information on health benefits of the food items. The conveyor belt moved along very fast. the airport is tricky. You have to move the friend to drink milk and Rex to eat vegetables. The third game has fruit that you need to get down the tubes to Rex in the tub. very tricky!
Improvements I would like a new font for reading. I would like to see the spelling and grammar errors fixed. I would like for the story to flow better and to be able to move on after the game to see more of a story. I would also like to see more information for the learning portion of the app.
General review I like the idea for the app. I like the story's plot. This is interesting to the kids. I like that there is a game element to keep the kids involved but would like to see a lot more forth is app. This looks like it is still in the idea phase of development and still needs a lot of work.

What I liked This app has a great idea for little girls. Little girls love parties. Most little girls love to shop. My daughter loves to assist with planning parties, shopping for parties, choosing presents and decorating. The app shows the child what to touch next ny making it blink which makes it easy o use. The voice is a child which kids like.
Improvements I'd like to see more activities. My daughter likes to decorate and wrap gifts. These type of activities would keep her attention longer with this app. My daughter wanted more choices for each category that she could choose from. The buttons on the bottom should lead to something more than just a sound.
General review This app has a great idea and has a good start but needs some more activities to keep the child's interest. The childs voice is good and the story has many rhymes so could be used for identifying rhymes as an additional activity. The app ends after the shopping is completed and my daughter wanted to decorate, wrap gift and participate in a party.

What I liked Love this app! it has sooo much to offer for the price. The words highlight as the words are read in the read to me option and then you can play on each page. I love that the areas on each page that are animated will sparkle with stars to show the kids where to touch. this app has three ways to read the book. raed to me, book ply and read and play which offers great options. I love the book only for introducing a book. the kids are not distracted by what theoy can do and listen to the story. This app also offers games and videos that all teach something!!!!
Improvements I would like to see a version of the book where the book is read to the kids and they can play once the reading is done. The current verion allows kids to touch and play while the book is being read to them and so,e kids cannot handle this as it is too distracting for them and they miss the whole story.
General review I love this app and would only make one change as listed above. his book teaches kids that there are all kinds of heroes and that everyone can be a hero! it also has great videos and games. Every activity has an educational function but is interesting enough to keep the kids engaged in learning!
