What I liked This app is great for sneaking in a little math review while letting your child believe they are playing the latest in battle games! Instead of boring math problems over and over, there is a goal in each set leading to an enemy battle, all taking place while doing math problems.
Improvements For each problem, there are three choices to pick from for the correct answer. Sometimes the same number shows up twice which means less to choose from. In every problem we encountered like that, the answer was the one that showed up as two of the three choices. My kids picked up on this quickly. I was also disappointed that as you moved into the larger numbers, they really weren't large at all. None of the large numbers I came across were over 19. I also wish that something happened when they got a problem wrong other than saying wrong! Lose energy or something!
General review I think this is a great app for kids under the age of nine. It is a great review of elementary math skills with an added game to make it more exciting and captivating. I had my nine year old practice his multiplication charts he has been memorizing, but my five year old learned more with this app.

What I liked I loved this app. The illustrations and colorful images were perfect. The story line was easy to follow and interesting. You could feel the emotions of the characters, and I truly enjoyed learning a little about a different culture from both sight and sound. The animations found throughout the book were fun and added value to the story.
Improvements The only things I would like to see different in the future is taking into account today's society and what we teach our kids. A red flag flew up when the adult told the kids he had a secret, and in the end, he kept the secret from his family. Today, we teach kids that adults should not tell them secrets, and everything is safe to share with parents. I wouldn't want a child to get the wrong idea!
General review This is an excellent app. The story line was very interesting, and the colorful 3d images, scenery, and animations really add to the story. The writing draws you in and makes you fel like you are there exploring the city yourself and experiencing the different culture first hand.

What I liked This beautifully illustrated take on a classic story was presented in a way that it can keep a kids attention while helping to build reading skills. The graphics were colorful and fit the story well, and the tab that follows along with the reading helps kids identify words. I enjoyed the character interaction throughout the story.
Improvements For what this app is going for, I think it's great the way it is. The illustrations are colorful and perfect, the story is wonderful, and it is a great way to get kids to sit and enjoy a classic. Four of my kids have begged to watch this one a few times!
General review This is an excellent app on a classic story. Kids find it easy to read along or alone. The interaction with the characters allows kids to be involved in the story and look forward to hearing the characters talk. I love the different reading options and levels available as well as the ability to choose a different language.

What I liked I loved the colorful illustrations. The pictures were full of detail on every screen. I enjoyed the areas of interaction throughout the story. The story was engaging, and I looked forward to what would happen next. The curriculum activities on the website are great way to tie the story into a learning experience across many different areas.
Improvements I enjoyed the narration, but I think it would be better if there were two people narrating. A male and female voice would make the story more interesting. This was especially true when both characters were supposed to be speaking at the same time, but you couldn't tell.
General review This app is top notch. It is an intriguing adventure story that kids of all ages can enjoy. The illustrations are vivid and interesting, and there are many interactions throughout the story. I love the additional information available on the website. This app is the perfect combination of entertainment and education!

Math Summoner [text]

What I liked This is an interesting game that combines learning with fun! I liked the colorful graphics. The ability to customize the game for kids on different math levels is a great feature. My kids enjoyed destroying the aliens and tried to solve the math problems faster so they had more mana to attack. It is a great way to sneak in some learning!
Improvements I would like to see a button that would let you quit the game and go back to the menu screen. I accidentally hit the learning level twice and had to go through the whole thing just to go on to the next level. Also, on the third level, something happens to the mana when you solve the math problem. Where before, each math problem increased mana, allowing you to destroy the aliens, this level deleted the mana as soon as you got it. So you couldn't destroy, or even try to destroy, the aliens. My son quickly got frustrated because it took about 30 minutes with very little progress.
General review This is a colorful and exciting game that allows kids to learn and review math facts while playing a game. I like the ability to customize problems with larger numbers, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and basic geometry. There are a couple changes I think would make this app even better, but my kids (5 & 9) both enjoyed this game.

Wild City 1.0.1 [text]

Rating
What I liked Wild City is a fun and exciting MMO game with great graphics and exciting roles to play. I like the different options available in each category where you can choose the job, fight, weapons, and work out. The casino is a great way to make cash when you need more money and spend time restoring energy. I also like the Wild Times newspaper to read about other happenings in the game.
Improvements The only improvement I would like to see is a FAQ section or area to go over certain topics or instructions ip for the game. Te chat area is a great place for that, but sometimes people would rather have something to refer back to any time they need to.
General review This is a fun and exciting mafia MMO game that offer you the ability to chose how you play. You can be different characters and find ways to fight and earn money. I like the Casino for fast cash. The chat and e-mail allows easy access to other players. In comparison to other mafia type MMO games, Wild City offers many additional options to make game playing more exciting.

What I liked I thoroughly enjoyed this app. I love the ability to see where your child stands in the core subject areas of math, language arts, and science. It is a great review for the current and prior school year. My son (4th grade) was excited when he finished the test and saw his score. He told us each time he reached a new level. It is a great way to get kids to focus on education and learning while playing on the iPad!
Improvements The only thing I would like to see in a future version would be more grade levels offered. I have a kindergartener who would benefit from something like this. I like the ability to basically test your child at home to see where they stand while they think they are just playing a game.
General review One of the best educational apps I have seen! There are so many different topics for each grade level, and enough questions that I have not come across the same question twice. My fourth grader enjoyed going over things he has been learning this year as well as glimpsing into what he will learn next year in fifth grade. This is a must have for reviewing core school subjects!

What I liked I liked the colorful graphics and interactive sounds. My 2 year old twins love the cars and trucks. I also like that even if the child gets zero points and runs out of time, the app still says hooray. My kids don't spell or read. So it was more of a "push every letter until you get it right!" The interactive areas in the garage screen were fun for my boys. They loved the robot (robot flies to the front of the screen and moves around) and paint (the paint can sprays a color on the screen, and you wipe it all off).
Improvements I would like to see more interactive items on the screen. The descriptions says states you collect then learn the function of these items. I don't see this being true. A few items are shown and interactive. But there are many items not included in the garage space at all. If you click on the tool, the voice tells you what it is, but maybe a description or picture of what it does would be helpful/interesting. The app also crashed several times making it difficult to review. The most recent update seems to have fixed that issue.
General review I think this is a very colorful and inviting app. Kids younger than 5 can search for letters or just push them all to collect the item in the garage. Kids 5 and older will probably enjoy spelling the words out and trying to collect the most trophies. I like the areas that interact in the garage such as the cars, paint can, and robot. Overall, I think kids will get bored pretty quickly without more areas of interaction and parts explanations.

What's Faster LITE Cars- Ultimate Trivia & Puzzle Game [text]

Rating
What I liked This is an entertaining app for all ages. I liked the facts given for each car. My son was shocked to see some of the prices of the cars and loved to learn more about the engines and facts. I like the radar guns used to help you if aren't sure which is faster. I like the colors and graphics as well as the background music.
Improvements The only thing I would like to see is maybe another group that includes more common vehicles you see on the road. Another option may be to have hints to help determine the fastest before having to use a radar gun to get you past a more difficult question.
General review This is a great app for car lovers! I love reading the facts about the different vehicles such as where they were made, when, and especially the cost. My son enjoyed learning about the different cars and was shocked at some of the faster vehicles. The graphics are great, and the music matches perfectly.

What I liked This is a wonderful storybook app. The graphics are wonderful. The story is perfect for kids to help them understand fire safety. The app has many interactive areas adding to the story. I love the different reading levels available. I also l
Ike the real life fire safety tips. My 2 year old twins and 6 year old love this app!
Improvements I would purchase and enjoy this app as is. I don't think any changes need to be made. However, to fit with the fire safety theme, maybe including resources for kids and parents to make fire escape plans and do fire drills at home would be a nice addition.
General review Any Wubzzy fan will love this interactive storybook app! It has different reading levels for kids,a and can be enjoyed by kids from age 2 and up. There are exciting interactions on each page of the story. I love the additional features such as video's, coloring pages, and learning games. The story line is captivating while teaching kids about fire safety. I definitely recommend this app!

What I liked This is a nice app to help calm a baby to sleep or help anyone relax. I like the colorful pictures that go with each sound. The brief description of what you are looking at helps you feel like you are there. I like the ability to record a sound and hear a heartbeat. All are very soothing.
Improvements In a future version, I would like to see more than rivers and waterfalls. A nice thunderstorm or light rain would be great. I think a rainforest would be a nice addition to this app, too, with light rain, birds singing, and other low calming animal noises.
General review This is a nice and relaxing app for all ages. I like the pictures and calming Water. You have the ability to control the volume of the white noise, heartbeat, and something you record such as a lullaby or parents voice. My kids have all loved white noise when going to sleep. It not only helps them relax, but it drowns out the rest of the noise in the house.

Math Mathews 1.0 [text]

Rating
What I liked I like the graphics in this app. The colors and characters are great and really draw kids in. I like the different ways you have to solve the problems on each level. The ability to keep track of the progress made on this game is a great feature. I also like the practice area where you can practice multiplication facts and personalize it to the multiplication families that you may need to work on. The ships log is a great read.
Improvements I enjoyed this app and would purchase as is. As a future suggestion, I would like to see the math families go up to 12 since that is typically the range of the multiplication table students are asked to memorize. The ability to chose different levels and families would allow kids to move up as they learn.
General review Math Mathews is a fun and engaging app that helps kids learn and practice basic math. I like the way the problems are mixed around and the variety of the problems. The animation is great. I love the timed problems where if you don't solve them eithin a specified time, something happens to the characters. It makes you think fast! I like the different levels and goals that make it more like solving a puzzle rather than practicing math skills!

He is Risen, An Easter Story [text]

What I liked This is a great app to help tell the resurrection of Jesus. The different reading levels helps the book appeal to a wider audience. The pages are easy to read, and the colors are bright and fit with the story. I like th e additional activities like the maze and coloring pages.
Improvements I think this is a great app for the story. It is intersecting and holds a child's interests for the most part. I would like to see more interactions or animations rather than just the one picture on each page. I know my children were looking for more things to do with the pictures expecting them to move or change.i think it would be nice to have bible passages in there so you can look up where that came from in the bible.
General review Overall I think this is a great app. The story line is perfect, and the pictures on each page are nice and colorful. I like the maze and word search in activities. I would like to see more interactive areas throu the story because it is a longer story, and kids can lose interest quickly. This is one of those stories you want them to grasp the whole way through!

Wubbzy The Superhero [text]

What I liked Another great Wubbzy app! I love this story. The colors are bright, and the animations on each page really bring the book to life. The parent questions are a great way to aid in comprehension. The videos and games are great features. I especially liked the bubble shooter game found on one of the pages. I like the different reading levels because it covers a very wide age range.
Improvements I think this app is great as is. I would definitely purchase more Wubbzy story apps in the future if they were made the same as this one with the great story line, animations, and games. As far as the audience and goal of this app, it is wonderful.
General review I loved this Wubbzy app. The story is great and perfect for kids. The animations fit with each page and add that little extra to the story. I especially love the dress up page! The parent corner is a great way to help parents ensure the kids are gaining knowledge from the story. The videos and games keep the kids entertained well after they read the story.

What I liked I thought this was a great story. I liked the educational games at each stop Oggy makes on his way through the forest. They are short enough not to frustrate a child while still teaching valuable lessons. The illustrations and animations are perfect.
Improvements I wish the app held your place when you exit so you can go right back where you left off. I like the games, but I would like to be able to access the games and maybe other features (such as a parent corner or other games) without going through the story.
General review This was a cute and heart warming story about the adventures off a frog named Oggy. Early readers can read along with the story. There are also four games built into the story that deal with letters and words. The animations are great and add wonderfully to the story.

Animal Planet Hide & Seek Pets [text]

Link to the App Store

Rating
What I liked This was a fun and engaging app. I liked the cute animal pics and animations. The facts were interesting, and the puzzles, tracing, and games kept the kids attention. I also like the parent corner where you can get questions to help make sure your child is grasping what they are learning. Almost every kid loves animals, and this just feeds into what they enjoy! We really enjoyed reading along and trying to guess what the animal was while cutting away whatever was in front to reveal the picture. My kids always seemed to be amazed even when they had seen the same animal 10 times!
Improvements In a future version, I would like to see another level of tracing. Once the kids have gone over tracing the letters, they get frustrated waiting for the animation to go through each step before they can attempt it. Maybe a third level that is more free hand tracing. I would also like to see more apps like this with different animals. My kids would enjoy an ocean animal theme or maybe jungle animals.
General review This app has it all and is a great value for the price. Each animal page is filled with lots of opportunities for reading as well as facts, puzzles, memory match, and spot the difference puzzles. There is also an area to paint and play music. The parents corner is filled with information to help you navigate the app and all the information. Kids seem to be so intrigued with animals and their noises at this age! This app fills that fun!

The Miracles of Jesus [text]

Link to the App Store

Rating
What I liked This is a great faith-based app for families with kids of all ages. I love the different reading level options. Kids can have the book read to them, read the whole thing by themselves, or read with help when necessary. The story is very well illustrated. There are also games included such as mazes, word find, and painting to reinforce the lesson.
Improvements I did not notice any bugs, misspellings, or anything that should be revised and edited. The only thing that I would like to see is more freehand option to trace the letters. Right now, you have to wait for the dotted line to be drawn for each part of the letter. It would be nice to have the option to allow the kid to trace the letter at their pace without picking up their finger if necessary.
General review I love this app. The Miracle of Jesus is a wonderful story that teaches a valuable lesson. The different reading levels makes it appropriate for kids of all ages. The questions at the end of the story help reinforce the message. There are other activities to keep kids busy such as word scramble, word search, maze, trivia, tracing, and paint. This is one the kids will go back to over and over!

What I liked This is a great educational app for kids of all ages. It is attractive to kids with the colors and animations, and also offers a great learning opportunity with geography, music, culture, and animals of different regions. There are exciting puzzles and games as well as videos to explore. My favorite is the state map where you have to put the states in the proper place.
Improvements I think this is a wonderful app. My kids can't get enough of it. My ONLY wish would be a read aloud option so that each area where there is reading content, it could be read to the kids. My 2 year olds love the app, but they don't get the full use without someone reading through some of the screens.
General review I can't say enough good things about this app! You get so much more for the money! It has so many areas to explore and learn. My kids loved every part of it. The games are educational and fun. It helps kids learn geography and culture from around the world in a fun and exciting way. It is very kid friendly and one of the first apps my kids go to now! I will definitely be seeking out more apps by this developer.

Live Puzzle! Forest Animals [text]

Link to the App Store

Rating
What I liked This is an excellent app. I like the animation because it is different than other puzzles out there. Te pictures are engaging, educational, and colorful. The different levels of difficulty are great. I also like the option of listening to the name of the animal in the puzzle.
Improvements The only thing I would like to see in a future version of this app is simply more puzzles. My kids got through the twelve puzzles on each difficulty level fairly quickly, and they were asking for more! Maybe another theme like bugs or dinosaurs would be fun, too.
General review I enjoyed this app. My kids and I loved the colorful animations. It is a nice change from traditional puzzles. They are educational, teaching animals and habitat, as well as entertaining. The different levels of difficulty make this app appropriate for kids from ages 2 and up. We can't wait to see more!

Talking Duke 2 3.3.2 [text]

Link to the App Store

Rating
What I liked I like the interaction between user and dog. I like the graphics and background. I liked the fact that Duke is able to repeat what you say in a funny voice. I liked the option to change clothes/accessories, but I think that if you are going to offer coins for in app purchases, something should be available within or close to the amount given. You have 800 coins, but the cheapest item is over 3000 coins.
Improvements I would like to see some sort of warning and change in advertising because this app is not suitable for kids of all ages. My 10 year old wasn't a fan. I read that it is a "virtual pet for kids," but I would not allow my kids to play this app. Or another, less abrasive and more child appropriate dog can be made that tells silly jokes and knock knock jokes that younger kids really enjoy, not flooding mom's kitchen or playing dead!
General review Honestly, I am not a fan of this app. It is advertised as a "virtual dog for kids." I have five kids from 1 to 10 years old, and I wouldn't get this app for any of them. I asked my older two to tell me what they thought, and neither of them thought it was funny or interesting. There aren't a lot of options, and the ones there are not funny.

Spellyfish - Short A Words (v1.0.0) [text]

Link to the App Store

Rating
What I liked This is a great app for preschoolers up to first grade. Children learning to sound out words and spell will love the colorful graphics and animation. There is a section where you can track your child's progress. Spellyfish is interactive and will help when you get stuck on a word.
Improvements In the future, I would like to see a more expansive list. This app is short a words. If the pplan is to add different letters and blends in the future, I hope that the will be in one app for one price rather than 10 apps for a certain price for each.
General review Tis is a great educational app for little ones learning to read and spell. Spellyfish is interactive and fun! As you spell the word, Spellyfish sounds the letters out reinforcing the spelling and reading. When your child begs to spell just a few more words, you know you have a winner!

Math Mathews : Mental Math 1.0 [text]

Link to the App Store

Rating
What I liked I love the Math Mathews app. This app is a fun way for kids to practice their math facts (addition and subtraction) while playing a game. I love the colorful graphics and animations. The characters are fun and very fitting with the story. I like the fact that you can chose the difficulty level so it is perfect for a wide age range.
Improvements I enjoy the math apps and love being able to allow my kids game time while sneaking in some learning. That said, I wish there were more difficult levels. The expert level is the most difficult, of course, but the answers are very easy to pick out. Most of the answers are completely different. So if you can add the last 2 digits in the problem, there is only one answer that would fit. You don't have to solve the entire problem to figure out the answer.
General review This is an excellent app for kids of a wide age range. My 6 and 10 year old kids are both able to chose the level most appropriate for them and play. I like the ability to view reports on each level for each child (and you can have 10 registered players). This app is family friendly with no ads or in app purchases. Any educational game that my kid enjoys is a win for me!

Lola's Math Train FREE [text]

Link to the App Store

Rating
What I liked Lola is a cute panda bear that kids seem to love. The colors and animation are wonderful. Every kid loves trains and animals. Having an app with a train full of animals is a huge draw! My kids were excited to see what animal they could pick up next.
Improvements The first time I played, the sound stopped working. I had to reinstall in order to get the sound back. Second, when Lola says we need to chose a difficulty level, the only option is easy. It says to tap the arrow if you want to practice numbers first. Maybe this is because this is the free version, but it shouldn't say to chose a level if there is no choice. I don't like Lola's voice, either. She looks like a young character, but she sounds like an adult woman. There should be more to offer in the free version. Personally, I wouldn't buy the full version if this was the sample I was given.
General review I like the idea, but there are issues. There is not enough in this free version that would make me want to purchase another version. It is the same questions and puzzles each time. The app descriptions says there is adding and subtracting in this app, but there is none in this version.

Jack and the Beanstalk a Mathematical Adventure - HD V1.1 [text]

Link to the App Store

Rating
What I liked This was a great app that combined a classic story with some simple mathematical facts. The narrator was very easy to understand and fun to listen to. I enjoyed the graphics and animations. The short math sections tied in perfectly with the story and are great for many ages.
Improvements I think the story is great as is. I love the various math problems that are included throughout the story. The only thing that I would suggest would be to make the story a little longer with a few more problems in it. Another suggestion would be a read to yourself option rather than listening to the narrator for the better readers.
General review The classic story of Jack and the Beanstalk had a few twists and included math problems dealing with money, time, measurement, counting, weights, and shapes. I really like the fact that the math problems change each time you watch the story. So the price of the beans or height of the stalk is different each time giving the child extra reinforcement. The story is short enough to keep the attention of the younger kids.

Christmas Karaoke App: 12 Carols [text]

Link to the App Store

Rating
What I liked This app includes eleven Christmas songs and Auld Lang Syne to ring in the New Year. Each song has lyrics on the screen that are colored so you can follow along. There is an option to mute the vocals and another to put the twelve songs on a loop. Four background colors choices allows you to personalize the screen.
Improvements For the goal of this app, I think it is great. It includes some of the main Christmas carols. I would love to see additional songs such as Twelve Days of Christmas, Santa Claus is Coming to Town, Here Comes Santa Claus, and Frosty the Snowman, to name a few. I love the mix included, and I appreciate seeing faith based carols included!
General review Christmas Karaoke App is the perfect app to take on a caroling adventure! The music is great, and with or without the vocals, it sounds wonderful. The highlighted words makes it easy to follow along for anyone who can read. My kids enjoyed being able to sing along and not just hum the words they didn't know!

Hide & Seek: Fun With Animals (v1) [text]

Link to the App Store

Rating
What I liked This app is very colorful and interactive. Lisa the cat and her friends hide in three different scenes, and you have to find them. I like that the animals hide somewhere different each time, making it a little more challenging. I like that kids learn the names of animals, sounds they make, as well as different items in the scene. I also like ability to pop balloons at the end of each scene.
Improvements For a paid app, I think there should be more to it that three scenes. Also, the parent area link is not working. I am not sure what is included in the parent area. Other than that, I think the app is great for it's intended target, and my kids enjoyed it.
General review Hide & Seek is a fun and exciting app for preschoolers. Lisa the cat and her friends hide in 3 different scenes. Kids are asked to find each animal one by one. The name of the animal as well as the sound it makes is said. Hints to where the animal is hiding is also given such as tree, bush, or lake. The animals hide in different places each time making it a little more challenging. Kids will have fun playing hide and seek with their new friends.

The Reading Train: A Common Core Early Literacy Tutor Version 1.0.3 [text]

Link to the App Store

Rating
What I liked This is a really fun book reading app. I like the different book selection. I like the options available for each book. The story selection is nice. I also like the reading practice with the trains and the option to use coins to listen to the large song selection. There is so much to this app! I love the definition of the new words list.
Improvements In a future version, I would like to see more books available in the free version. There really is a lot to this app. So much to see and learn. I would also prefer to pay fir the app once rather than a subscription that only allows a limited amount of time.
General review This is a great app for young readers and slightly advanced readers! There is so much to do in this app. From the large selection of books, flash cards in the train yard with definitions, and the skill testing area, any child with this app could never be bored! The child can listen to the book, read it alone, or record themselves to listen to later. This is the only reading app you will need!

Kilubu : Magic Potions 1.0.1 [text]

Link to the App Store

Rating
What I liked Kilubu is an app geared towards preschool or kindergarten age kids who enjoy experimenting with different ingredients to make magic potions. I liked the colorful graphics and animations. There aren't many magic concoction apps available. So it is fairly unique. The book of potions doesn't always have all the information necessary. Kids must experiment a little in order to make it work and get more stars for the quality of the recipe. I like that kids have to think about the steps that must be taken and the different ways the potion can be made, and how each can change the end result.
Improvements When a potion is of a lower quality, the animation change is the same. It would be more interesting and make more sense if the animation was different. If a low quality and no stars are given on the pumpkin head draft, only a portion of the head turns to a pumpkin or something similar. It would give a better visual reminder that the potion wasn't the best quality.
General review Younger kids benefit from following directions from the book and enjoying the animation when Sacha drinks their potion. Older kids will enjoy experimenting to see what they can do to change the end quality of each potion. There are 60 different potions to make, and they get progressively more difficult to make. No ads or in app purchases allows kids to play without accidentally hitting a button that interrupts their learning!

Meet Science: Magnetism and Electricity (v1.0.1) [text]

Rating
What I liked This app is amazing! It is perfect for kids and adults of all ages. It is also great for homeschoolers. The app has tons of information. There are lessons, games, experiments, quizzes, a dictionary, and a list of famous scientists. The experiments are easy and mainly use gousehold items. They really help make a connection to the subject being taught.
Improvements I love this app. The only improvements would be to expand to include possibly more subjects and/or additional experiments. Everything else about the app is great. I definitely
Ike the characters and music! I hope you have more educational apps such as this.
General review This app is the perfect app for homeschoolers or little science lovers of all ages. This covers electricity and magnetism. It is a wonderful app with great graphics and catchy music. The app is full of lessons, quizzes, experiments, games, and even a dictionary. It explains these scientific lessons in language easy to understand, and the experiments attracted my kids attention for a long while!

Annie's Picking Apples 2 [text]

What I liked This colorful and exciting app is perfect for my preschoolers all the way up to my 1st grader. They all enjoyed helping Annie pick apples so she could make pies. The apples are different colors, and the child has to match the colors as well as pick the right number of apples. I like the parent section where you can check the skills needed for each game and how well your child did. This is a great app that you can feel comfortable allowing your child to have what they see as “game time” when they are actually learning!
Improvements I did not find the ability to reset the game anywhere. It would be nice to be able to clear the game so that a child can go through the entire game again or another child can start a new game. Even the ability for several kids to sign in so that their game is saved but other could play would be helpful. I also did not see where to change settings. I see the different recommended settings for age groups, but I don’t see anywhere to go to change those settings.
General review Annie’s Picking Apples 2 is a fun and exciting game for young kids. This educational app helps kids as young as preschool age count to twenty, solve puzzles, learn colors, and improve hand eye coordination. The app has four different languages available - English, Spanish, German, and French. Settings can be configured for younger children to enjoy this fun filled learning app. Your child won't be disappointed in this app!

What I liked PicoToons is a fun coloring book app for kids. It is one of the largest and best app I have seen. The 3 difficulty levels allow access to certain features for different age levels. There are so many parental controls that you can always feel safe letting your little one play with this alone for hours! My favorite is the gallery drawing limit where parents can set how many drawings can be saved! The number of pages is perfect, the 5 different books/categories appeals to a wide audience, and the amount of tools and colors makes this app limitless!
Improvements While I love math, my husband does not! When he was trying to enter the parental control area, he had to pull out the calculator or paper to make sure he was able to accurately do the math problem with the carrying and adding 2 and 3 digit numbers. It was funny to me, but that would be my only suggestion for improvement, maybe less difficult problems to enter! Or maybe make it harder by having them solve some algebraic equation!
General review PicoToons is one of the most parent and kid friendly coloring book apps. With over 100 pages to color and 5 different books to choose from, it appeals to kids all ages and interests. There are numerous colors and tools available including a sticker tool, magic particle tool, pencil, marker, crayon, brush, and spray. Kids can color in free hand or use the fill tool to color more precisely. The sketchbook allows for creating images to color.
