What I liked 1. The first thing I saw then I opened the application was the language selector tab. I like that it has more languages then English, but it's something wrong there. I will say what in the next tab.
2. I really like how this application can help kids count and with color recognition. They are very nicely integrated in the overall gameplay.
3. The gameplay is good and the overall content is suficient for the price of the app. It can be replayed without too much problems.

Improvements 1. Aldow the language selector is up front, this is not necessary a good thing. I let kids play on they're own and sometimes they can change the language by mistake. So I would recomand this feature to be buried deep in the parents section, where kids can't access it.
2. I would like to see different games in stead of puzzles. Don't get me wrong, very are good, but too many. This precious space can be filed with other game that help kids found or recognize colors.

General review Overall this is a wonderful application for kids to play with. Counting and color recognition is the name of the game here. The content is good, but sometimes repetitive. I would like too see more privacy added to the language selector in a future update.

What I liked This app is a nice app that reinforces numerals from 1-20. I liked the choices of other languages as well (English, Spanish, French, or German). The different activities were great and kept the attention of the students. They enjoyed making the pies!

Improvements The app crashed a couple of times while playing.

The app allowed me to go to the end where the "Congratulations" ending scene is right from the beginning of playing.

You could go to any level. I would like to see them "locked" and only open when you have completed the previous level.

The Halloween and Christmas mini games were very hard to control.

I wish there were more tutorials/guidance throughout. Some of the activities had little to none, and they were difficult to figure out.

General review This app is a nice app that reinforces numerals from 1-20. It also includes other fun activities such as jigsaw puzzles. There are other seasonal activities that included Halloween, Christmas, and Easter. There are also 4 different languages to choose. With the addition of more directions/tutorials to help guide the way, this app would be a nice addition to help practice with numbers from 1-20.

What I liked Annie's Apple Picking 2 is a great app. We start by meeting Annie who helps you play the game that helps children practice math skills. The app then opens up to all pages of learning and fun with beautiful graphics. The app is presented in a maze that we need to help Annie navigate. During these games children are practicing skills in matching, counting, fine and gross motor. Children get the chance to explore a variety of jigsaw puzzles from different scenes of the app. The app increases in difficulty while playing. Once, we reach the end of the game Annie has a picnic with all of her friends

Improvements What I would like to see in a future version-

- A nice feature would be the ability to have more than once child play on the same app. Such as a little login screen in the beginning of the app. With the same idea in mind a teacher or parent would then be able to have accurate data reports on each child that uses the app.

General review Annie's Apples 2 is really an enjoyable app for children to play. I like that there are no in-app purchases but is still filled with so much content that children can play with again and again. One of the things I liked most that the app plays according to what the child wants to do, it was nice to see children making decisions on where to go on the maze next. Also, it was nice to see that the app had multiple language options as well!

What I liked The graphics are very cute and appealing to smaller children. The sorting of the different color of apples and increasing the counting for each level. The students enjoyed completing the puzzles after the counting. Being able to turn off the music and voice is a very good idea especially in a classroom full of small children that are easily distracted by sounds or music.Very easy for student to navigate around the application.

Improvements I was lost a few times on the levels where you mixed the ingredients, washed apples, diced the apples, made the pies, then take them out to the friends. Maybe a voice explanation on what they were supposed to do on each of those levels, or maybe like what you do with the counting levels showing a video.

General review Repeated counting on each of the levels, 5, 10, 15 and 20 getting progressively harder with each level is a great scaffolded activity. There was sufficient time for the students to complete the task required. The last level counting backwards and shooting the apples into the basket was the most fun for the students.

What I liked This colorful and exciting app is perfect for my preschoolers all the way up to my 1st grader. They all enjoyed helping Annie pick apples so she could make pies. The apples are different colors, and the child has to match the colors as well as pick the right number of apples. I like the parent section where you can check the skills needed for each game and how well your child did. This is a great app that you can feel comfortable allowing your child to have what they see as “game time” when they are actually learning!

Improvements I did not find the ability to reset the game anywhere. It would be nice to be able to clear the game so that a child can go through the entire game again or another child can start a new game. Even the ability for several kids to sign in so that their game is saved but other could play would be helpful. I also did not see where to change settings. I see the different recommended settings for age groups, but I don’t see anywhere to go to change those settings.

General review Annie’s Picking Apples 2 is a fun and exciting game for young kids. This educational app helps kids as young as preschool age count to twenty, solve puzzles, learn colors, and improve hand eye coordination. The app has four different languages available - English, Spanish, German, and French. Settings can be configured for younger children to enjoy this fun filled learning app. Your child won't be disappointed in this app!
