What I liked	There's a wide variety of popular songs to choose from. The option to control how fast/slow the notes travel is great and the option to replay and see your pattern, accuracy etc. Provides feedback in a fun way. Detailed tutorials covers the basics well. The option to create music is a good next step forolder kids.
Improvements	Some steps/pages in the tutorial can be combined so they dont drag out as much and sentences arent split up. It's easy to lose attention. A previous button would be helpful to flip back a page. The pave of the recording could be a tad faster. The create music section doesnt seem very intuitive. Having the help tutorial play in the beginning may help. The option to undo will be helpful. I accidentally touched a note and it moved off to a different bar. Having some visuals during song playing would be a nice touch
General review	Good interactive app to teach kids the basics of music reading. Colored notes and interactive practice sessions makes it a fun platform. Provides feedback in a fun way. Detailed tutorials covers the basics well. The option to create music is a great addition and takes it tothe next level. Reading the help section before creating a song will be helpful.

What I liked	Things we liked about this app. 1. Easy navigation and instructions. 2. Music theory lesson that children and adults could understand and follow. 3. The ability to practice songs, seeing the notes, creating music and recording it for playback. Overall a wonderful app.
Improvements	On my iPad, I did have lag time while in play mode, so my songs were not always in tempo. I really could not find anything else that needed improvement. Maybe adding a piano/organ option to learn hand placement and adding some additional songs to the play mode.
General review	Jellybeans Tunes is a wonderful app that teaches music concept and theory with the added features of learning/playing songs and creating your own music with a recordable feature. It is easy to navigate and instructions are clear. The user has a menu on the right hand side that allows them to pick form Play, Learn, Create and Replay options. In Play, there are 12 well known songs to choose from. This app is suitable for kids and adults alike.

What I liked	I liked the lessons that will teach an individual about music from the staff, to the note values to what each note is. This will assist those learning about music. The ability to play the music and record it with voices is very entertaining and motivating. Being able to create your own music is an added bonus.
Improvements	I would love to see the playing feature improved. I did not feel that an individual could differentiate the length of the notes and when playing, I often had pauses because I touched the note too soon before other notes were seen. More songs are always on a wish list.
General review	This is a great app for children and adults who want to learn about music and also possibly create their own music. It allows an individual to go at their own pace of learning. In addition, the recording feature is great because it allows you to record both the music and singing and play it back at a later time.

What I liked	This application is both visually and auditorally entertaining. The "play" mode allows the child to produce familiar songs by touching the notes. The "create" mode allows creativity to flow as the child develops his own songs, and the " learn" mode does a wonderful job teaching music basics! I really enjoyed going through the lessons and refreshing my memory! The app is engaging and enjoyable, and I think young children and older ones will find it entertaining.
Improvements	I would like to see the lessons go even more in depth, teaching basic piano playing skills even. The "learn" mode is easy to follow and being able to practice what you are learning is a plus, certainly. It would be nice, also, to be able to add other background instruments to the mix.
General review	I think children of various ages would find this application entertaining, and our budding musicians will love the "create" mode. Allowing you to audiotape your creation and play it back is an added bonus! The app is easy to use, and easy to follow. It is an engaging and enjoyable way to practice basic skills of reading and playing music.

What I liked	What an awesome app!! I really like that is goes step by step giving definitions and pictorial examples of written music. I think that it is good for beginners and children alike. I really could see this being used in a middle school beginning music class or with children and I think both groups would benefit equally. I am not very knowledgeable about music and I learned alot!
Improvements	Overall I really liked the app. There seemed to be some interference when I replayed the music that I had recorded where I guess I was actually hearing where I was tapping the notes on my iPad. That annoyed me. I would have also really like to have had an example on the songs that I was not as familiar with. So I could have say listened to Three Blind Mice the correct way to see if I had done it correctly. Other then that I thought the app was very cute!
General review	This is a GREAT app! It is good for children or even young adults interested in learning about reading or creating sheet music. It has learn, play, and create features that you can explore at your own pace of learning. The app also records voices as you play the music so you and your children can sing along and then listen back. The possibilities are endless on this app!
