What I liked I thought this app was actually very useful for someone very new to photography like myself. Once I found the 'About' section that describes the composition types, I realized what the app was used for and found it very interesting. The scope of the app was good and it was easy and simple to use.

Improvements 'About' is a very important section and could use a different title. Often 'About' is just a page saying who made the app and it is pretty useless, so some users might skip this. I think the scope of the app (number of and description of compositions) was pretty good, but once users learn these, maybe there could be a way to get even more knowledge on these subjects through the app.

General review This application provides useful grid lines as well as descriptions of different composition types so that you can learn something and try it out with some help. I found it very interesting and could definitely see this being useful and interesting to other new (or maybe not so new) photographers.

What I liked I love how the grid on this app allows me to line up and focus my shot to make sure every shot I get is perfect. I also really like the section of this app that explains what each of the different grids can be used for. It has really helped me to get great pictures that look professional. I also like the timer on the app. I don't even think the default photo app has this! I also really like the gradienter because it allows me to aid me in making my picture even, and not crooked.

Improvements I would like for there to be an option for a front camera shot on this app. I can see this being a major issue because lots of people enjoy taking pictures of themselves. I also think it would be cool to have different themes (black & white, underwater, etc.) such as instagram. I also think it would be very helpful to have an in-app photo editor for things like red-eye and cropping. This would make it so people would not even have to leave your app to fix their pictures.

General review This is an amazing app for taking professional pictures (especially landscapes). The only problem with this app is that it does not include a front camera option and it doesn't include a photo editor. Other than this, the app includes awesome features such as a gradienter and a focus grid.

What I liked Adjust grid is a very interesting photography app with a different way of looking at photography. Unlike many other photography apps, it gives you the ability 12 different format compositions, including your original basic photography full shutter and this leads into over thirty customizable grid lines that help to shoot a photo with better accuracy than normal. What I favored about this method was that I could make my pictures straight by matching up the lines and I could catch a shot of the perfect sunset using tunnel. Also, I like that you were able to use a timer to capture photos as well.

Improvements My wish list for the app:
Ability to edit within app
Ability to use compositions to collage pictures together
The ability to set timer for more than 7 seconds
Ability to use this app while taking a video such as using it to test an app, the composition settings could be helpful in pointing out key features in an app and making the video look more professional.
A use for the camera roll besides just viewing your photos that you have taken
Increased sharing abilities to social media such as twitter, facebook and youtube
Ability to use along with other apps such as wordpress, box, google sync

General review Overall, I think it’s a good photo app but I would like some more features. I liked that in the settings I was able to see the reasoning behind all of the composition methods and what they are used for. This helps to make pictures look more professional. It reminded me of the new app based camera, which this app could be perfect for. I also liked the customizability where I can control the grid color and have a gradienter for shooting photos.

What I liked I liked the fact that there were a variety of photo composition tools available to use to produce a polished professional photograph. I liked that the photographs could be shared via email and Twitter and the camera roll. I also liked that they could be printed or copied from the App.

Improvements The control buttons are very small. There should be additional instructions for use of the composition tools available beyond what there is. As is, this App is for people with some photographic experience beyond the weekend warrior stage. If you do not authorized this App to access your camera roll the pictures you think you are taking are actually not be taken. I would like to see that changed.

General review An App that is for a sophisticated picture taker. Experimentation to correctly determine which tool is best for which picture is required. Variety of photo composition tools are available. Pictures can be shared and printed from the App. Make certain you authorize access for the App to your camera roll or your pictures will not be recorded.

What I liked I really liked the detailed definitions on how to do correct photo composition. There were so many lessons, and detailed explanations on rules of how improve your photography skills. You could then position the lines in such a way to try and use that rule in your camera shot. I also liked the timer feature, you don't find that on too many photography apps.

Improvements The control panel of the app is not very intuitive for person using the app. I had explored the app for at least fifteen minutes before I realized that you could change the app grid lines, to the composition rule you were reading about. The controls are one of the main features of the app. If a user cannot figure out how to use an app in the first few minutes, chances are they will not use it.

General review This app shows you the rules of how to take a great photo in detail. It then lets you take the rules of proper photo composition and gives you the grid lines to match up with the specific rule. There are eleven rules of good photography that you can try in the app. I wish that the control panel was better labeled, it took me a while to figure out where all the controls were within the app.

What I liked I thought the interface was helpful and intrinsic to it's operation. The self timer feature was an added bonus that I didn't expect. The "About" section was a nice tutorial for a novice like me to learn more about composing a scene to make a pleasant photograph.

Improvements In the future, I would like to see the ability to scroll through the photos in the camera roll. Also as a novice I did not know what gradienter was and the self time button was not well labeled. I was able to determine those purposes through the use of the app.

General review This is a very user friendly app for the amature photographer to help with composing a photo. The interface is intuitive and does not interfere with the overall functionality of the camera. It also provides a brief tutorial to explain the use of the grids.

What I liked I love the about section with the explanations of the different grids. It is great information. I Los like that I can control the color of the grids. This is beneficial to people with disabilities and just for the changing backgrounds. I also like the timer feature no the ability to turn the flash on and off when I was using my iPhone.

Improvements I would like to see links to more information about the grid and how to make my photography Bette. I also think the additional of a short tutorial would be good. I was not sure how how to start the timer and it took some trial and error. I also think some minor editing tools within the app would be great. Tools might be color changes, cropping, etc.

General review Great app to help improve your photography skills. The variety of grids help to make your photos fantastic. There is a built in timer and a the ability to turn the flash on and off within the app. The app also gives you the ability to share your photos. There is also a section that tells you why each grid is used. A short tutorial would be beneficial, but a little trial and error you can figure this app out. .

What I liked The app is as advertised: a great overlay to assist in composing pictures. A wide selection of templates are very helpful to amateur photographers in taking pictures that have more than Baby's cute face to commend them. The "about" menu is especially helpful in understanding how to use the various features.

Improvements As I demonstrated in my first video review, the app crashed every time I attempted to take a picture. I was not able to take a single picture using the app. The app loaded, perspective lines and all other features displayed just fine, but I was unable to take any pictures. When I closed the app, my camera worked fine, so I don't think it was a problem with the phone. I WAS able to use the app eventually and have not had this problem again. I remain concerned that there might be a bug that causes this problem and wonder if I can rely on the app to work from now on.

General review The app is a very good tool for an amateur photographer. It certainly does a good job of aligning shots well. I do wonder if most folks will be patient enough to use it. The functionality of the app is almost perfectly balanced (for me) with my concerns that the problems I had with the app will occur again.
